Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainable practices, The Gym Group became the UK’s first carbon-neutral gym and has set ambitious targets to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045.

The Gym Group sought to enhance energy efficiency across its estate without compromising the quality of services provided to its members. The Gym Group partnered worked with Powerhub Solutions to implement Voltage Optimisation (VO) technology across multiple sites nationwide. This technology reduces mains voltage to optimal levels, thereby decreasing energy consumption and enhancing the efficiency of electrical equipment. Specifically, the initiative involved the installation of VO units across 70 sites.
