In August 2025, the High School of Glasgow partnered with Powerhub Solutions to install two Voltage Optimisation (VO) units, one at the Junior School and another at the Senior School.
The goal was to reduce energy waste, stabilise voltage levels, and support the school’s broader sustainability goals, all without disrupting normal operations.
Just three months in, the results are already clear.

Our data validation shows a verified 8.48% reduction in electricity use across both sites, translating to an estimated 28,103.7 kWh of annual energy savings and 6.5 tonnes of CO₂ avoided every year.

How It Works
Voltage Optimisation technology adjusts incoming voltage to the optimal level for site equipment, reducing excess energy use without compromising performance.
By fine-tuning the supply, we help sites like the High School of Glasgow achieve lower consumption, improved equipment lifespan, and verified reductions in energy waste, all while operations continue as normal.
