What Is Voltage Optimisation?

The UK mains delivers more voltage than your equipment needs,  and You pay for all of it.

The UK nominal mains voltage is 230V, but in practice the supply to most commercial buildings arrives between 240V and 250V. Most electrical equipment is engineered to run optimally at around 220 to 225V, and that gap represents wasted energy.

A Powerhub voltage optimisation unit is installed between your incoming mains supply and your distribution board, reducing the supply voltage to the optimal level for your site's load profile.
