Powerhub Solutions, Leading UK Energy Savings Company, Holds It’s National Conference

On Tuesday 14 July, the entire team at Powerhub Solutions, a UK energy saving company headquartered in Stockport, gathered at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire for our National Conference 2026. Thirty people spent a full day in one room, reflecting on where the business started, taking stock of where it stands today, and setting out where it goes next.

Company conferences are usually internal affairs, and much of ours was. Some of what we discussed, however, speaks to a shift happening across the entire UK energy saving landscape, and we think it is worth sharing.

From Consultancy to Energy Technology Company

Powerhub Solutions was founded in 2022 as an energy reduction consultancy. Within its first year, the business evolved into an energy technology company, supplying and installing proven energy reduction technology for businesses across manufacturing, hospitality, logistics, healthcare and retail.

The model has stayed consistent from day one. Every project is surveyed, designed, installed and verified in-house by our own team, with no subcontractors at any stage. That approach has driven growth every single year since we started, and it has built our reputation as one of the UK’s leading voltage optimisation specialists.

Voltage optimisation remains one of the most reliable ways for a business to reduce energy consumption at the point of supply, and nobody in the UK delivers it better than the team that filled that room on Tuesday. The conference was also clear on one point, voltage optimisation alone is not the full picture of where commercial energy saving is heading.

Why Energy Saving Is Becoming a Systems Conversation

For years, businesses have approached energy reduction one technology at a time. A voltage optimiser here, an efficiency upgrade there, perhaps solar on the roof when budget allows.

Each of those interventions works, and each delivers measurable savings, however the limitation is what happens around them. Most businesses still cannot see where their energy is actually going, asset by asset, hour by hour. They cannot act on waste in real time, and they often cannot prove what an intervention saved them once it is installed.

That visibility gap is the real problem, and it is why the industry is moving from single technologies towards connected systems, where commercial energy monitoring, control and independently verifiable savings sit together under one roof.

This shift shaped almost every session at Peckforton Castle. Energy saving is no longer just about the hardware on the wall, it is about the intelligence layer that sits across everything a business runs.

A New Product Is Coming, and It Changes the Conversation

At the heart of Tuesday’s discussions sat something we have been quietly developing for months. Powerhub will soon be launching a new product that we believe will change how UK businesses see, manage and reduce their energy.

We are keeping the details under wraps for a little longer, but the principle behind it is simple. Monitoring tells a business where its energy is going, control acts on what monitoring finds, verification proves the savings are real. Bringing those three together, delivered by the same in-house team that installs the technology itself, is where we believe the market is heading, and we intend to lead it there.

The full reveal is coming in a matter of weeks, and anyone responsible for energy costs in their business will want to see it.

The People Behind the Technology

Technology carried much of the agenda, but the day belonged to the people. The conference welcomed new faces across sales, operations, marketing and engineering, and gave every person in the business the chance to introduce themselves, share what they do, and explain the difference they make for clients.

Four engineering teams, dedicated project managers, energy analysts covering both before and after sale, and a growing commercial function all sat in the same room, aligned on the same direction. Growth like ours only happens when the people delivering the work care about the outcome, and Tuesday was a reminder of just how much this team does.

What a UK Energy Saving Company Should Deliver Next

If your business spends heavily on energy, the direction of travel matters to you. The next generation of energy saving will not ask you to buy technology and hope for the best, it will show you exactly where your energy goes, act on the waste it finds, and prove the savings it delivers, all through one accountable partner.

That is the future Powerhub Solutions set out at Peckforton Castle, and it is the one we are building towards right now.

This is what practical, in-house energy saving looks like in the real world.
